I was sitting here thinking, the many times I heard the words, "90% of Achievement is Showing UP" "Wait on the Lord," All week, I was trying to convince myself to not go to the Health Event at the Randallstown Community City on Saturday, April 12, 2014. Everyone I asked to go with me, said they had to work or do something else and couldn't make it. On Thursday, something in my spirit said, you have to go. Although, there were not a ton people like the last event, however, God brought the right people. I had the pleasure of meeting the Wylie family. An amazing family, very tight knit. In collaborating with different members of the family, a meeting place was found for A Sista's Circle Empowerment Network, LLC at no charge to us. My fellow Sistas Annette Miller, Renee Carter , Karen Smith and my son came out and supported and shared in this special moment. We were brought to tears of joy. I know in my spirit that God is pleased about what we are doing. He has literally made a way when nothing was there that the eye could see. We are all together for a special purpose. Some of us see it and some have not yet arrived. And just to think that I almost did not attend this event. I would have missed this Blessing. A Special Thank You to our CEO, God for his continuous favor and guiding our steps. Thank you to the fabulous women whom He has brought into this organization to share their special gifts and talents.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
More details to come about our meeting place.
There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
I'm supposed to pick 8 women who have touched my life and who I think might participate. Please send this back to me. Remember to just read the quotation. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just send this to 8 women you would like to sit at your table and let me know what happens on the 4th day. Thank you!!
Quote: "Today may there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.
Feleshia Thomas, you are a true Sista in A Sista's Circle Empowerment Network, LLC. I appreciate you, taking care of the important meeting that I totally forgot about due to all of the preparation going on for Chere Cofield's "Let's Get Serious" Health and Wellness Expo. You stepped in took care of the meeting, prepared the proposal and delivered it. You truly displayed what it means to "Work Together As One" Thank you so much for all that you do. Love you, girl.

How is your day?
A step by step approach to support you in developing an action plan to “get it done.”
I believed that Martin Luther King was anointed by God, just as other people of the Bible. They were all born with a specific purpose to complete before leaving earth. Recently, I attended a breakfast at The Associated Jewish Federation of Maryland where we viewed "A Divided Class." I thought is was very provocative. It confirmed for me that I must make a difference and do something.
I write a lot about gratitude because I know how powerful it is to be thankful and grateful for everything you have. This Thanksgiving, as you enjoy family and friends, take a moment to look around and acknowledge all of the little things that we sometimes take for granted. In this moment, I am grateful for the joy I feel because I have a grateful heart and mind-set. It has brought so many things in my life that I would have never otherwise received. I just want to say, "Thank You."
